18 March 2023 – Kemalak stated that the Fighting Eagle is an appropriate solution for the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF)’s current and future operational and employment concepts. The aircraft is also equipped with modern avionics architecture, Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar, F404 engine, Air-to-Air Refueling System, Air-to-Air and Air-to-Ground Weapons including Laser Guided Bombs along with Sniper Targeting Pod which is very capable for war fighting machine and weapon platform.
