Chief Executive Officer

With a distinguished career spanning 18 years in the Royal Malaysian Navy, possessing extensive experience in navigating the challenges of the marine industry. In 2023, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Lt. Cdr. Mohd Faizal Bin Ab Aziz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and has completed the Ammunition Engineering Officer Program. Before joining Kemalak Group, he built an extensive career spanning from 1997 to 2021, serving in the Royal Malaysian Navy and other corporations in various capacities.

He served as the Head of Business Development (Naval) at Kemalak Systems Sdn. Bhd. from 2021 before being appointed Chief Executive Officer of Kemalak Marine Sdn. Bhd. in 2023. Under his leadership, Kemalak Marine Sdn. Bhd. has continued to achieve significant growth and success.

Lt. Cdr. Mohd Faizal bin Ab Aziz RMN (Rtd) is a distinguished professional with over 18 years of experience spanning both military and civilian sectors, marked by a proven track record in leadership, strategic management, and operational excellence.

His career began in the Royal Malaysian Navy, where he held several key positions, including Deputy Supply Officer, Supply Officer, and Commanding Officer, among others. During his tenure, Lt. Cdr. Mohd Faizal gained extensive expertise in logistics, supply chain management, and ammunition engineering, further solidifying his reputation for operational efficiency and strategic thinking.

Upon transitioning to the private sector, Lt. Cdr. Mohd Faizal spearheaded business development initiatives in the defense and maritime industries. As General Manager at Cemara Dinamik Resources, he successfully managed operations and led teams to achieve critical business objectives. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Kemalak Marine Sdn. Bhd., he continues to drive business growth while overseeing strategic and operational decisions that enhance the company’s market position.

His illustrious career is further highlighted by prestigious accolades, including the Ahli Mahkota Pahang (AMP) and the Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang (PKC), in recognition of his outstanding service and contributions. Lt. Cdr. Mohd Faizal remains deeply committed to professional development and to fostering the success of the organizations under his leadership.
