Major (Rtd) Ts. Nik Muhammad Fariz Bin Nordin RMAF is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in both the defense and corporate sectors. He holds an MBA in Supply Chain Management & Logistics from the National Defense University of Malaysia and a BSc in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His military career in the Royal Malaysian Air Force encompassed critical roles in operational logistics, capability development, and strategic procurement, further enriched by international training in the United States, Canada, and New Zealand.
Following his service, he joined PETRONAS, where he is responsible for offshore security initiatives under Group Security. As a Subject Matter Expert in maritime and upstream security, he has conducted high-level risk assessments, developed strategic mitigation plans, and coordinated joint exercises with national security agencies. He also chaired the Joint Security Working Group for PACs, strengthening coordination with the Navy, MMEA, and Air Force.
Ts. Nik is recognized for his strategic vision, operational discipline, and stakeholder engagement in high-stakes environments. He continues to mentor professionals and drive innovation in maritime operations, combining military precision with corporate leadership to advance Malaysia’s strategic capabilities.
